All group interventions are facilitated by a registered Psychologist (Kevin) with extensive gaming experience both playing and running multiple game systems. The groups are kept small to ensure all participants can be supported and encouraged participation in the game systems. Initial intake appointments are conducted with all clients individually to discuss presenting concerns, familiarise participants with the group facilitator, assess risk, and inform placement of participants into groups with other members they can get along with.
Presently the programs are offered for clients funded by the NDIS. However, privately paying clients and clients under other funding streams are welcome to participate in the groups.
Venues for group appointments may vary to that offered for individual therapy.
