Autism, ADHD, and Neurodiversity Support

At Brighter Side Psychology, we recognise that neurodivergent individuals often experience unique strengths alongside challenges that can impact daily life, relationships, education, work, and emotional wellbeing. We provide tailored, evidence-based support to help individuals better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and navigate areas of difficulty with confidence.

Our Psychologist has extensive experience working with neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, including those who have received a diagnosis later in life. He draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Solution-Focused Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, and Schema Therapy.

Support is individually tailored and may assist with:

  • Emotional regulation and managing overwhelming feelings
  • Building social and communication skills
  • Developing healthy routines and daily living strategies
  • Managing anxiety, stress, and self-doubt
  • Navigating relationships and interpersonal challenges
  • Improving self-understanding and self-acceptance
  • Building confidence and resilience

Our approach is neuroaffirming, practical, and focused on helping individuals develop strategies that work for their unique needs and circumstances. Whether supporting a child, teenager, or adult, our goal is to help clients thrive while embracing their individual strengths.
